creating the world to death
Does anyone know a cure for the end of the year blues? If you do please package it up and drop it by my door. Oh, and if it isn't already smothered in chocolate then please, smother it in chocolate...
… and if by chance the cure happens to be a girl who knows a few tricks… well, you know what to do.
(Usually I prefer to post the "Happy Month" blogs on the first of every month. This time I was late in doing so and I would just like to say that I offer no apologies. I have been busy all week defending the cosmos from a rampant horde of isosceles triangles. It just goes to show that you should never feed mathematicians.)
I am in complete shock that the school semester is almost done and over with. I'll be back on the road traveling home as soon as I finish writing a few finals. I can't wait to go back home, I haven't been able to find the time to go take a trip home all year, and once I get there the leaching of food and soft linens will begin!
Recently I read Angels in
It has kept on steadily snowing for awhile now but I haven't gone outside to play in it yet. Don't have the urge to. This poses a whole bunch of weird questions that I should ask myself about growing up, maturing, becoming dead, and the like.
Matt Good will record a new album in January of next year. He performed some of his new material in concerts earlier this year. One of the songs that you can Youtube for your listening pleasure is entitled "Metal Airplanes", and it is oh so very good. Not to mention super catchy! Can't wait for it to come out, I HEART GOOD.
With another year in our fresh millennium approaching all I can think about is what to get the family for Christmas. I'm coming up blanks. The hardest part is always trying to top what you've given them prior, and because of that I may have boned myself hard this year. I suppose what I'm trying to say is, never aspire... Actually I take that back, always aspire. Because the opposite is kind of slow death that everyone will see occurring but you.
Everyone, take care during this last push of school before the holidays. Treat yourselves right, and finish the term in a fashion deserving of the hard work you know you've put in over these months. And I'll see you on the beach. Look for the guy in the Santa hat.
